LIBERAL ARTS PROGRAM
Liberal Arts Program
The world is changing, and in order to prepare our youths for this new world we need to change the way we educate them. As the world has approached the twenty first century, theological educators and administrators of Myanmar Institute of Theology confronted the future with new visions and expectations. Leaders from MIT wanted to develop a new idea that would open up educational opportunities for many youths around the country. Myanmar Institute of Theology has equipped women and men for ministries in the churches and communities of Myanmar for more than seven decades, and it has an excellent reputation as one of the best seminaries since 1927. In addition, MIT through the church networks and broad community links has extraordinary reach in being able to introduce a new program which will be well suited to the future work, and supported by communities and local organizations.
